It's beginning to look a lot like Autumn!
Guests staying also have the option of some lovely seasonal arts and crafts too here. 😍

Silly goose indeed!
If you want constant entertainment, these guys are it...😂

When you're having a stressful day so go do some 'relaxing gardening' for a time...but the feathered friends also want to help...so you stress eat the sweets out of the gaming barn 😂..and the gardening still isn't finished...

Another spectacular sunrise this morning - view from the front of the farm & cottage here.

Fancy waking up to this? 🌄

We have some availability in the cottage this autumn (although fully booked for half term). Feel free to enquire, & remember booking direct saves you paying agent fees. 😊

🍬🍭 Sweets and snacks restocked,
🌅🍂 Warm lovely autumn colours everywhere,
🧶Blankets and throws for the decking now in a box ready for use,
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 ...And lovely guests in this weekend - the first to really test out the outdoor areas.

Not 100% done, one swing chair still being sorted, the gravel is still in the back of the van so the picnic table not yet under the pergola on the gravel grids... 🙄

Getting there part eleventy billion!
Planting has commenced...I cannot wait for all the spring bulbs next year now!!! (& am hoping not to find blummin chickens in these planters)....🙄

16/09/2026

Getting there... a whole area for guests for seating, and another for eating...😁...and the mandala lights are just gorgeous!

What a beautiful sunrise this morning. 😍

...and day 3 of build. Not all plans are set in stone & due to height of pergola on top of height of decking then a change in plan had to be done...so we now have 2 NEW outdoor spaces!!! 🤩

So guests now have :
🎉 Terraced area at top where the hot tub and some seating is
🎉Decking area with swing egg chairs - these are really good for mental health, relaxation, and calming
🎉Pergola area with pull across roof cover

Work still to be done including painting, planting, lighting etc but it is getting there and will mostly be ready for guests coming in tomorrow! But it is now raining...lots, and there's been some power cuts in the area this afternoon... 🙄

Progress!...Day 2 of build...and spot the colour order obsession in my workshop... 😂
