I’ve said it before & I will say it again…… who needs to go abroad when Cornwall is like this! 💙

No flights, crowded airports or passport control just get in the car or train & take yourself to paradise!

For 25 years I have been every summer to Spain & I can easily say it is far nicer at 50 Steps in Harlyn Bay! 🩵

It’s a very beautiful ground floor apartment so escapes the heat of the day & being right opposite the beach easy to go back to during the day for drinks, loo, cool off, etc!

Then a beautiful saunter home with gorgeous views!

If you’re dreaming of a little slice of Cornwall this year, our beautiful apartment — just 50 steps from the stunning Harlyn Beach near Padstow — could be just what you’re looking for.

Perfectly positioned for coastal walks, sea swims, lazy beach days & great food it’s an ideal base for exploring everything this special part of Cornwall has to offer.

Bookings are now open, with availability remaining for Easter, May half term and selected summer holiday weeks.

Loving having just around the corner! 🍻
Brand new and already such a brilliant spot – amazing décor (love the sandy floor), probably the longest bar in Cornwall, a fantastic range of local beers from & drinks (including a top-notch alcohol-free pale ale 🙌), plus delicious homemade pizzas.

Add in the live music – like last night’s band 🎶 – and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a fun night out. Even better, no driving needed… just a short walk from 50 steps! Yet another perfect thing to do here!

Huge congratulations and thanks to Dan, Adam, Charlie & the whole team for bringing The Harlyn to life. 👏👏

Our very own Salt Path with wonderful walks right from 50 Steps.
Turn right to Trevone (nice little bar on the way 😉) & onwards to Padstow.
Or left towards Mother Ivey Bay (so pretty) & then around Trevose Head to the lighthouse & onto Constantine Bay.
We never tire of the views. 💙 Gorgeous no matter what time of year.

What a way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary 💙

A little bus ride from right outside (probably the best dressed passengers that day 😎✨), followed by a stroll through Padstow, led us to the most beautiful little jewel in the town.

We’ve travelled far and wide and been lucky enough to dine in some amazing restaurants around the world, but this has to be my absolute favourite! The tasting menu was out of this world — all made gluten free just for me 😋. Mr G enjoyed the incredible wine pairing 🍷 and the service was simply perfect, with each course personally presented by the wonderful team (including the chefs) — such a special touch!

We feel so lucky that isn’t just close to the sea, but also so near to all this fabulous food. So if you’ve got something to celebrate, I can’t recommend a stay here — with a visit to — highly enough. You definitely won’t regret it!

Now… I just need to come up with another excuse to celebrate 🤔😉
