Trying to get into £1,000,000 worth of debt. 😅

The architect has now completed his first site visit and carried out a full measured survey of the building.

The next step was creating a feasibility layout to see how many apartments we can realistically fit into the property and, more importantly, whether they’ll be large enough to be desirable homes rather than just squeezing in as many units as possible.

After a few discussions, we’re now looking at adding a first-floor extension, creating an additional 28m² of living space.

That extra space could increase the end value of the development, improve the layout of several apartments, and make them far more attractive to buyers.

The aim isn’t just to create six flats.

The aim is to create six spacious apartments that people actually want to live in.

This development is being designed specifically with downsizers in mind, so space, accessibility and practicality are all key.

Every decision we make now will either add value… or cost us money later.
