Due to privacy, the bedrooms are not being shown but we can happily showcase the remaining areas that were decorated.

Recently finished bungalow exterior 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

The client contacted me with concerns of flaking paint and poor adhesion with every coat of paint that went on the property.

After jet washing the walls basically back to bare render, one wall remained solid and plastic like. It hadn’t been painted since pre-2010. I put 2 and 2 together. This had been painted using an oil based masonry paint.

Any further water-based paints were failing due to adhesion issues.
This is why product knowledge and experience makes such the difference when choosing the right decorator 🚨

In order to maintain a durable, long lasting finish, we decided to use Johnstones Pliolite Masonry.

With the correct preparation, this bungalow now has a new lease of life and some definite curb appeal. The dormers are being cladded at a later date. Another happy customer 😁

PROJECT COMPLETE ✅

We are very pleased to announce the completion of the external decoration at Eastcombe Farm manor. We completed this in June 2026 but now with the scaffolding down it’s time to showcase this project.

This exterior, now in its shining glory. Faced some challenges along the way. With the render being granite along with the window sills, it proved to be an involved process to paint.

The sills being kept as a raw material meant thorough protection was necessary to keep the characteristic of the building along with preserving the granite to keep it in its natural form.

50 year old basement door, brought up to modern standards. Windows carefully sealed which enabled crisp solid lines throughout.

We also repointed the front of the property where the render meets the slabs to ensure a consistent finish.

Another Half ‘n Half children’s bedroom completed ✅

This is a great way to add colour to a room without drenching the entire space. Being such a dark colour, this allows the brightness of the white to evenly blend creating a light but distinctive feature 🙌🏼
