We had a lovely meal last night at Barua in Keswick.

Started with a delicious cocktail. We each ordered 3 dishes, its like an Indian tapas. A lovely ambience and a realaxed feel with fantastic staff. We ordered a masala dosa samosas chaat, butter chicken curry, lamb keema , and divine onion bhajis and garlic paratha

Of course I had to have a pudding and I chose the sweet dosa filled with Nutella and strawberries.

We went to the Theatre by the lake afterwards to watch The Farners wife theatre production.

We had a day off today! We had a takeaway lunch from a little sandwich shop in Keswick called Jens Sandwich shop. I had a sundried tomato ciabatta filled with chicken & bacon and mayo. Jimmy had chicken tikka. We both had leek & potato soup.

We parked at the Theatre by the lake and had a picnic at the lake.

After we watched the musical Calendar Girls. It was incredible. Really recommend it.

Afterwards we walked to Bagheera Indian restaurant.

I had a pinacolada & Jimmy had a kingfisher.

We shared onion bhajis, chicken 65, beef, chicken korma and coconutrice. It was absolutely delicious. I recommend you book.
