Rachel Atkinson, Apprentice Rural Surveyor at PFK Rural, recently visited Ghana for two weeks as part of a Young Farmers trip, working alongside local communities on farms and in schools on a range of projects! 🇬🇭 🌾
During her visit, Rachel and the team assisted with restoring plots of land, planting crops, feeding animals and general animal husbandry.
Alongside the farm work, Rachel also spent time in three local schools, where she had the opportunity to engage with the children and share her experiences of life in our region!
An incredible experience and a great opportunity to learn about local farming practices, as well as to meet some amazing people!
