What a result for Workington Town Ladies!

A huge congratulations to Workington Town Ladies, who Genesis Homes is proud to sponsor and support, after an incredible 68–0 victory over Leigh Miners Rangers in the League Promotion Play-Off Semi-Final!

The game, held at Derwent Park, saw a fantastic team performance - including two outstanding tries from Genesis Homes’ very own Josie Scrimgour, our pre-development and planning manager, who is also the team’s Vice Captain! 👏🔥

We’re incredibly proud of Josie and the whole team for this brilliant achievement.

Now, all eyes are on the Play-Off Final next weekend, as the team take on Wakefield Trinity Ladies.

🌻 Growing a new community at Sandsfield Way

Pupils from Yewdale Primary School helped bring a splash of colour to our Sandsfield Way development in Carlisle as part of our ongoing community engagement programme. 🏡

Working alongside Westwood Landscape, the pupils planted flowers and their very own sunflowers in the show home garden, creating something they can return to and watch grow. 🌱

The children also enjoyed a guided tour of the live development, learning about the different stages of housebuilding, the trades involved and the importance of health and safety on site.

A big thank you to Yewdale Primary School and Westwood Landscape for helping make the day so special.

We had some exciting visitors to our HQ last week! 🚒

When Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service got in touch about a raffle prize for their upcoming Open Day at Penrith Fire Station, we were delighted to be able to help. 🧑‍🚒

The open day is on Monday 31st August with lots of exciting activities, displays and refreshments to enjoy. The event will raise funds for The Firefighter’s Charity who look after injured firefighters with either physical or mental illness, as well as providing long term support for families.
