Autumn is upon us 🍂 It’s that time of year when the sun still shines, the beaches are quieter, and yes, it’s getting a little cooler, but with an open fire to get back to after a day of exploring the island, what’s not to love?

There’s plenty to explore at this time of year too. Toadstool spotting adventures have been our favourite family activity this week 🍄 Whether it’s woodland walks, quiet beaches or simply spending time together, autumn is a lovely time for an Anglesey break, and Ty’n Rardd is the ideal place for a family get-together.

We visited The Bull in Pentraeth for some very important work related research as this is our nearest pub and the carvery is really good. Friendly staff, decent pint of Guinness too!

Great coffee, tasty food, delicious cakes in a spacious cafe with friendly staff - we really enjoyed our visit to Cegin Catrin at David Hughes (just around the corner from Beaumaris Castle) today!
The outdoor area is lovely too, with an undisturbed view of the castle and across fields 🤍🤍 highly recommend this lovely cafe!

The Anglesey Summer Festival is a major new weekend event that combines the best of our former Menai and Beaumaris Food Festivals! It is taking place on August 1st and 2nd at a brand new, spacious location: Parc yr Odyn Farm in Pentraeth, LL75 8UL.
🎪Food & Drink: Over 100 stands, including a signature producers marquee, global street food, and fully stocked pop-up bars
🎨Crafts: A curated crafts marquee full of handcrafted treasures and locally made goods.

How cute is this little one 🐾
Kendall has been visiting Anglesey over the weekend for her very first holiday.
She enjoyed her stay at Blue Sky, our enclosed garden is ideal for dogs and we absolutely love to host guests with 4 paws.

Not too far from us, this pancake house is absolutely worth a visit, very family friendly with high chairs and a play area and you will not leave feeling hungry that's a fact 😅 (maybe not even for a whole week if you get the large stack)

A cheeky trip to The Ship Inn was in order today, as it had been a while and we needed to check that Dragon Pie was still on the menu (it was) and that it was still delicious (it was) and that they were still dog friendly (they are) ...this was all purely for research purposes of course!
