I caught this calm shot a few days ago, aiming for a mirrored reflection on the water to capture a peaceful, still atmosphere. The colours turned out amazingly well. Being here at this time of night was pure bliss. It was so quiet and peaceful, which really helps clear the mind and capture beautiful moments.

The footpath along the river has now been reopened

A circular walk from St Erth along the River Hayle, lined with wildflowers in the spring and summer, and returning with views over the Hayle valley which was once a lagoon separating an island of West Penwith from the Cornish mainland.
