What do you think of this? The pets in rental accommodation argument seems to be gathering pace. I see both sides, but as an animal lover and pet owner myself I agree with making it easier for renters to keeps pets responsibly. I know of properties that could be let 50x over if the freehold association didn't have a blanket policy on no pets, covering an entire road! Obviously the property has to be suitable for the pet in question - you couldn't keep a Great Dane in a studio flat for example, but why not a cat or small dog. As a landlord, I am more than happy to allow pets in my property, and find that pet owners tend to stay in the property for longer.

A leading veterinary body - the National Office of Aninal Health, or NOAH - wants pets to be allowed in private rental properties.

Private landlords are providing more help to tenants than social landlords during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Private landlords have been giving more help to tenants who cannot pay their rent as a result of Covid than those in the social sector - and that’s official.

Warning: there are currently many people ringing up pretending to be with various energy supply companies. We have had one, although when we asked to speak to their manager they hung up and have never tried again. It would appear, however, that they are now targeting one of our tenants. If anyone calls you purporting to be from an energy supplier, please do not give out your account details (the one who called us was wanting us to provide them in order to "confirm" our account) - if they are genuine, they will already have them.
If you are a client of ours and you are targeted, please do not hesitate to pass them on to ourselves and we will deal with it.
