The luxury detached cottage sits in a tranquil setting on a small farm. There are fabulous views up and down the Hartoft Dale to the forests and the moors with an outdoor seating area. Recently refurbished, the cottage provides a high level of comfort and cosiness, including underfloor heating. You can look forward to a good night’s sleep in a luxurious custom made super kingsize bed. Hartoft has the advantages of experiencing dales, moors, forests, while not being far away from lovely market towns such as Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Malton and Helmsley. The coast is just over half an hour away and the famous historic city of York is less than an hour’s drive. There are numerous footpaths and bridleways from the door, perfect for walking, cycling, bird watching, horse riding, sightseeing, water activities or simply relaxing in general in an idylic environment.

On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, we will be hosting Trackrod Rally Yorkshire 🚗

Due to the event, all our trails will be closed on these dates ⚠️

Go Ape and Dalby Activity Centre will remain open for pre-booked visitors. Dalby Forest Café will also be open, serving a range of food and drinks. Dalby Forest Cycle Hub and Courtyard Café will be closed on both days.

The Visitor Centre, gift shop and Grandfather Oak play area will also remain open.

Trails will reopen as usual on Sunday 27 September.
