You may recall us posting about a visit from that little fella for filming of Mission Impossible. Unfortunately, the locomotive just came to a sticky end somewhere in Derbyshire. I hope someone remembered to say 'action, roll em' and not 'lets take that from the top again'.

As part of the filming of the Mission Impossible Franchise. Tom Cruise was present as a 'Steam Train' was driven off the end of a cliff.No really.

North Yorkshire Moors Railway will host its Annual Steam Gala from Thursday 23rd September to Sunday 26th September with a combination of guest locomotives and home fleet engines.

It's not war weekend in Pickering, as that's sadly been cancelled again this year. Nobody has told me it's top secret, but it would appear that Adolf's chaps are in town. Rumour has it that following on from our Tom Cruise visit a few weeks ago, we now have Harrison Ford. At his age, if he's anything like me, he may need a good chiropractor to keep him active through the robust antics of Indiana Jones. 🥵
