Hi everyone

As you all know the weather has been horrendous throughout January and going into February we ain’t looking any better. Im coming to the end of a 2 month project this Friday and have some availability for the next couple of weeks due to jobs being weather dependent. What a transformation on this bedroom.

Started off with having fitted MDF wardrobes. Once completed it was handed over to me to work my magic. Blood sweat and tears went into the preparation of these. Sanded between every coat aswel as wood filler and caulk.

The panelling was MDF cut into 50mm strips and placed onto the wall with adhesive. As you can see in the photos this bedroom looks so fresh and modern an the customers are over the moon

Wardrobes
- primed and uncoated in Johnstones Aqua Guard undercoat primer tinted in Egyptian Cotton
- finished in Johnstones Aqua Guard durable Satin tinted in Egyptian Cotton

Bedroom walls and ceiling
- finished in Johnstones Acrylic durable matt pure brilliant white

Panelled feature wall
- finished in Acrylic durable matt Egyptian cotton

Woodwork
- finished in johnstones oil base satin finish

Abit of weekend graft to get this unit handed back over to its owner. Here at AJW Decorators we accept nothing but the best. The walls have been tape and joined and once painted I wasn’t happy with the imperfections on the plasterboard. So rather than paint it to a finish I’m sanding it with a 180 grit to get this wall smooth ready for a top coat finish 👌👌👌

Hi everyone

Its been a while since my last post. Fresh back from a holiday in ibiza this was the first job booked in. As you can see in the pictures what a transformation this is. Its been hit and miss with the weather this week. I washed the house down with a anti fungal wash on monday. Tuesday was a wash out. Wednesday i started putting paint on the walls. Completed in 3.5 days with a little bit of help from a good friend and 16 year old step daughter on the last day to get this one over the line. Out with the dated yellow and in with the new.

Colours used. Sandtex high cover smooth waterville on the walls. Plinth painted in Johnstones black stormsheild.

Hi everyone.

As i commented in my last post that ive been busy with some big jobs and that was the reason ive been quiet on social media. Here is 2 stunning properties ive recently completed. The first property is finished in sandtex chalk hill and tge plinth finished in sandtex olive green. As the weather came in bad i was lent a help in hand for a few hours by a good freind FM Painting & Decorating to complete the plinth for me as I was working to a tight deadline.

The second property was a dream to paint on. I was approached by Jack Honey Plastering to decorate this property. Jack gave this property a modern look with fresh render then handed it over to me to work my magic and as you can see from the pictures it looks amazing. House finished in sandtex Olive green and plinth finished in sandtex anthracite grey

Absolutely over the moon with how this property has turned out. I was approached by luke to see if i had any availability to paint this detached bungalow down looe. Working alongside LS Building & Plastering LTD is a no brainer so i moved my schedule around abit and managed to paint this property in 2 days on my own with my step daughter giving me a hand and she worked her socks off for a 16year old 👏. The weather has been amazing too.

The property was freshly rendered and was a dream to paint on.

Top half finished in sandtex pure brilliant white
Plinth finished inAnthracite grey to match the cladding and garage door.

And that ladies and gentlemen is a wrap from upton cross in Cornwall.

Well what a final last push I have had on this project facing a uphill task. Ive managed to put in the hours this weekend and get this over the line. A lot of hard graft has gone into this property. Here is the external in all its glory. Completing the outside on this property today has opened up trades to complete the tarmac driveway next week.

Well what can I say about the transformation of this front room on a new build property. The customer wanted to change from white to a warmer colour and also asked if I could do MDF for panelling. The answer was YES. Each strip was painted and fitted individually and the end result is stunning. Over the moon with the finish on this job.
