Quirky, rustic cabin nuzzled by vines and greenery – perfect for lovers, writers and peace-seekers. Take long walks, stroll to the pub

Our latest review left by newlyweds Russell and Candy this weekend:
“Jackson’s Cabin is a truly fantastic little hideaway bolthole in a beautiful location with a sublime view across the downs to the Long Man of Wilmington. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a base to escape for a few days with great walks to lovely pubs in the heart of the South Downs. The cabin has everything that you could need, including an amazing wood burner, WiFi, plenty of maps and local info. Five minutes from the Sussex Ox pub. We loved it and will definitely be back!”

Thanks Katie for this:
“What a place! Jacksons Cabin was more than I'd hoped for in every way. My mum and I had a couple of nights here to retreat and spend some quality time together aswell as exploring Charleston and Monks House. We were delighted on arrival to discover the views from the cabin just divine, the terrace for an October breakfast were ideal, the location is unbeatable for walks everywhere-rural places, a country pub and into Alfriston. Just so ideal. So much to see from the cabin, so much do explore nearby but to be honest once we arrived we could of quite easily just stayed in and enjoyed the log burner and the silence. Until the next time.... thank you Alison and Charlie we feel truly lucky to discover your cabin.”
