A new chapter begins with a new name ✨

Since the first viewing of this sweet cottage last autumn, we always felt she needed a cute name ☺️

Being a grade II listed building means she will always have 1 Head O’Ditch as part of her address and history.

Penrose Cottage is now just another part of it 🌹

Lots of names were thought of…but Penrose was really the only one we all loved.
Pen - meaning ‘Hill’ in Cornish. And she very much sits on a hill.
Rose - because of the obvious. Her striking David Austin Guinee Old Climbing Rose is what captures everyone’s attention as they walk down the hill 😍

So Penrose Cottage she was to be ❤️

*disclaimer - we went through the correct channels with Cornwall Council to add the name 😊

✨✨✨✨
