We love an old bungalow on a corner plot. This one was run-down, the garden was overgrown and the site wasn’t making the most of its position. Now two contemporary family homes sit in its place.

Alia + Afoura in all their twilight glory.

Smoothest project we've ever run? Nowhere near. Eight months stuck in planning for a set of small amendments really cost us.

Proud of how they've turned out? Massively. The brief we set ourselves was contemporary homes that still look right in ten years, not just on handover day.

That's why the materials matter. Inalco MDI cladding by PietraCasa, aluminium by AloftLtd, timber effect cladding by Knotwood UK. All chosen to weather well rather than date.

Off the back of these we're now in conversation with a few clients who want the same thing on their own plot. Contemporary, built properly, proper attention to detail.

We're coming to the end of a few projects, which means we're looking for the next ones.

The market isn't easy right now. Development has never been harder than it is at the moment. But we're not interested in sitting it out, we want to keep building and keep growing, and the aim hasn't changed: deliver phenomenal houses that people actually want to live in.

So we're after our next site. Land with planning, land without, or the awkward plot everyone else has passed on. We're open to joint ventures too, if you'd rather build on your land than sell it. Over the years we've earned a good name for getting planning through and delivering what we promised, which is why most of these come to us by word of mouth.

Too many to get into one post, so splitting this into two.

A lot of work went into this one. The aim was to make a contemporary new build still feel warm and liveable.

Textured porcelain, discreet lighting, and the dressing by all play a big part in that.

Two new homes starting later this year. Around 3,500 sq ft each, 4/5 bedrooms, open-plan kitchen/living space and south-facing gardens. Main bedroom balconies looking back over the garden as well.

We’re offering these as Land + Build, so you secure the plot and we deliver the build with you involved along the way. Finishes, layout tweaks, details… all shaped as we go so it feels properly yours by the end.

It’s also worth knowing this route can be more tax efficient compared to buying a finished home (subject to advice).

If you’re looking in Canford Cliffs or Branksome Park, this could be a really good fit.

The Old Tennis Courts, Glenferness Avenue, Talbot Woods. 🏡

Once four dilapidated tennis courts. Now three high-end traditional homes, designed to feel like they’ve always belonged in the conservation area. 🌳

Each house was designed slightly differently, taking cues from the mix of styles around it, while still keeping the detailing and touches we carry through all of our homes.
