We read every review our guests leave, and this summer there were a few things that came up again and again ❤️
The location.
The views.
The space.
The well-equipped kitchen.
Spotlessly clean.
And having room to relax without everyone being in each other’s pockets.
It's lovely to hear what guests notice and appreciate when they stay at Abeen Atlantic — especially when those comments come from people who have experienced the house for themselves.

Winter duvet time has arrived at Abeen Atlantic ❄️

We've changed over to our winter duvets, ready for those cooler nights on the North Coast.
But we know that when it comes to sleeping, one size definitely doesn't fit all!
If a winter duvet isn't right for you, we also have lighter alternatives available — simply choose whichever suits you best. ❤️

It's one of those little things we think can make a difference to a comfortable stay.
Because after a busy day exploring the North Coast, there's nothing quite like getting into a bed that's just right for you. 🛏️🌊

The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family dinner — and there's something rather special about sitting down together after a day enjoying the North Coast.

Sometimes a holiday is about the big days out… and sometimes it's simply about good food and good company. ❤️

A little change at Abeen Atlantic ❤️

A few weeks ago, one of our much-loved leather swivel chairs finally gave up the ghost!

They’ve been a favourite spot for relaxing and enjoying the view, so replacing it was never really in doubt.
This week, the replacements arrived… and we think we’ve made a very good choice! 😊
Our new electric swivel recliners are now in place — just waiting for our next guests to try them out.
I think this might become a very popular seat in the house… ❤️

My Favourite Seat #1❤️

This seat on the Promenade is one of those places where you can sit down for five minutes… and suddenly realise you've been there half an hour!

There’s a panoramic view taking in the Dominican College, Portstewart Strand, the Barmouth, Mussenden Temple, Magilligan Point and the Inishowen Peninsula.

And being close to the harbour means you can watch the wee boats coming and going too.

Even better, you could grab an ice cream from Roughans and enjoy it right here. 🍦

📖 It’s Read a Book Day!
One of the things I love about being on holiday is having the time to do something I rarely manage in the busyness of everyday life — simply sit down and read.
At Abeen Atlantic, there are plenty of places to find a quiet corner and enjoy a few pages… in the living room, in the garden, or even sitting on the lawn. 🌿📚
No rushing. No list of jobs waiting to be done. Just time to relax and read when you feel like it. ❤️
