Acland Bracewell

Acland Bracewell Established in 1958, we are a family-owned practice of Chartered Surveyors, Town Planners and Architects

Founded on the traditions of landed estate management, Acland Bracewell has developed into a modern practice of Chartered Surveyors, Town Planners and Architects. Using the right balance of professional advisors, we formulate and implement the most appropriate strategy for your portfolio, to protect, grow and harvest your investments when ripe and adapt and change when demands require. We are not

a national land agency practice, nor do we strive to be one. We pride ourselves on maintaining lasting relationships with our clients so that we can tailor their needs accordingly. But more importantly, our clients know who personally manages their interests, building trust and guaranteeing consistency.

Today marks the introduction of the mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements for minor developments, which follows the introduction of the new rules for major developments back in February. Under Local Plan policy, local authorities will be permitted to set the BNG obligation higher than the national minimum 10% gain and it seems some local authorities have already set their minimum BNG requirements as high as 30%!

If you want to know more, take a look at the article on our websiteπŸ‘€https://www.absurveyors.co.uk/are-you-ready-for-new-biodiversity-net-gain-planning-requirements/πŸ‘€, or get in touch with our team to find out how BNG obligations could affect your project.
