Accurate

It's far too easy as humans for us to say sorry for bad behaviour once it's exhibited but harder to train the behaviour desired.

A few points to note though 🤔

✳️ If you have taught a dog it is fine to bite when younger but as it grows you scold the dog - you are the problem and not the dog, humans find it too easy to blame but YOU have allowed that behaviour.
✳️ A dog that is nervous when outside - Again is a YOU problem, you haven't trained your dog in various environments to ensure the dog is environmentally sound.
✳️ Socialisation - Now this always gets mixed reviews, a socially sound dog isn't one that needs the ability to meet every single dog nor one that needs to greet every human being. It is a dog that is comfortable with stimuli around it without wanting the need to interact, a dog should be able to walk through a park without having to interact with anything other than its human.

The main point to take into account though is TRAIN YOUR DOG and do not set YOUR DOG UP FOR FAILURE!

🐕NASDU L2 General Purpose Security Dog Handler Course

✳️Week 1 9th - 12th October
✳️Week 2 16th - 19th October

⚠️PLEASE NOTE

The Duration of the course is 8 days split over a 2 week period, you will be trained by ex military personnel.

2 days of theory to ensure you receive enough knowledge for your exams.
5 days will then be of practical with yourself, K9 and the team of instructors that will push you to your limits in certain scenarios to ensure you are truly ready to become a security dog handler.
Last day will consist of a theory test and practical examinations.
