Hi all,
We wanted to take a moment to reassure residents after reading some of the comments regarding recent activity on the land off Victoria Street in Wheelton, and to clarify what is currently taking place.
As a company, we own both areas of the field, along with the private access road that runs through them. Planning permission has been granted for 7 homes on one section of the land, and all works will proceed in line with that approval.
The smaller section of land (the triangle) is being used to store clays and soil as part of our building works. The activity you’ll have seen on site in recent days is purely part of that work.
We are also creating some hard standing areas for site welfare along with a car park for our contractors.
We’d also like to reassure residents that, as with all the homes we build, the new houses have been designed with great care. We take real pride in using locally sourced, natural materials that respect the surrounding area. Having grown up in Wheelton and living in the surrounding villages ourselves, this area is very dear to us. Our aim is to create homes that sit well within their surroundings and are something we can feel genuinely proud of. These homes will not be out of keeping, and we’re confident they will be a welcome addition to the area.
We understand that building work can be disruptive, particularly when it takes place close to where people live. Please be assured that we are working in accordance with all planning conditions and are committed to being as considerate as possible to neighbouring residents throughout the process.
We really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we prepare the site and begin works, and we look forward to delivering homes that enhance the area.
Thank you
The Brindle Homes Team
