What another brilliant PCN evening!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Tuesday, and particularly to Kieran Toner of Kieba Property for sharing his experience, knowledge and some fantastic insight into creative property investing.

And to Niki Torbett of Lancashire Hill, who joined us at the Expert Table to share her HMO knowledge and experience.

And now… onto October!

Our next event takes place on Tuesday 20th October, and it’ll be our last event at The Black Bull before PCN moves to its new home at The Ancient Oak.

This month we’re delighted to welcome Simon from Property Inspections NW, one of our fantastic PCN sponsors.

Our next event is just around the corner.

Our guest speaker is Kieran Toner of Kieba Property, a full-time property investor with more than 15 years’ experience across BTLs, HMOs, Serviced Accommodation, refurbishments, conversions and creative property strategies.

Kieran will be sharing a fascinating recent option deal involving a high-end HMO portfolio and company – including how they were paid £2,000 on the day they got the keys and went on to create £400,000 of equity during the option period.

The landlord database is now moving from policy into practical rollout, so this is one landlords need to start getting familiar with.

The NRLA has put together some useful information on how the database is expected to work, who will need to register and what landlords should be preparing for.

There are still areas where we need more detail, particularly around exactly what information will be collected, what will be publicly visible and how the system will operate in practice.

For now, the important thing is to keep informed and make sure your records, property information and compliance documents are in good order.

We’ll keep sharing updates as more detail becomes available, but the NRLA guidance below is a good place to start. 👇

We had a great evening at our July event. A little more intimate as so many of you lovely lot had headed off on your summer holidays ☀️ but we still welcomed some new faces in the room.
