Best football team ⚽️

⚫🔴 U12 LIONS 🟡⚫

It was a tough game for the boys, we’ve come up against this team before and we’ve had mixed results over the times we have faced them. They are a big, physical side and unfortunately we let them dictate how the game was going to play out. For a large majority of the first half, we kept them at bay and it looked like it was going to be a close game however it was clear to see the boys had walked in to a knife fight which totally threw them off their game.

We went in to half time a few goals down and we explained to the lads that skill and speed was the way to unlock the opposition. However as soon as the boys went back on, they got drawn in to the physical battles again. It was a game we should have won on paper but unfortunately we let the other side play their style and ended up conceding 5 with no reply.

What I will say was that the defence was extremely busy and if it wasn’t for Jacob, Eddie, Jack and Benji in goal, it could have been more.

🏆 PLAYERS OF THE MATCH — JACOB & EDDIE 🏆

PoTM this week went to both Jacob and Eddie and was given in recognition for the hard work that was being played at the back. These two in particular today fought tooth and nail, literally throwing their bodies on the line.

It’s games like these, when we are on the defensive, that we can truly see the impact and importance of our defenders and keeper

What a ride. What a blessing. What a day! 🥹🥂

Two sets of keys handed over, two very happy buyers and sellers, and a LOT that went on behind the scenes to get us here! 😂🙌🏼

These are the days that make all the chasing, phone calls, emails and stress completely worth it. 💚

Motherhood is hard. Make it harder. Start a business. 😂

Because apparently raising two boys, running a house and keeping everyone alive wasn’t quite enough to keep me busy… so I thought I’d throw running my own estate agency into the mix too. 🤣

Some days it’s viewings with a toddler in tow, emails at 10pm, negotiating offers between nursery runs and wondering how on earth I’m going to fit everything into one day.

But building something of my own, for my boys, while doing a job I genuinely love? I wouldn’t change it. 💚

Maybe ask me again tomorrow though. 😂
