I passed my advanced negotiation certification last month.
Nobody asked me to do it. There is no governing body that requires it. Most agents never bother. Most have no structured plan at all. Some will even allow their least experienced member of staff to negotiate the sale of your most valuable asset on your behalf.
I did it because my clients deserve better than good enough. They deserve an agent who is constantly pushing to be excellent, in a way that is structured, repeatable, and backed by something more than experience alone.
Negotiation is where a sale is won or lost. The difference between a great negotiator and a poor one can be worth up to 6% of a sale price. On a £500,000 home, that is £30,000. Not from the marketing, not from the photography, but from the conversation that happens the moment an offer lands.
I already cared deeply about that conversation. Now I have a structured, certified framework sitting behind it.
That is what levelling up looks like to me. Not for the certificate. For the people trusting me with what is, for most of them, the biggest financial transaction of their lives.
Property. Personally Delivered.
