A cosy late 19th century 3-bed stone cottage in the heart of the Llyn Peninsula, which is an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A weekend of annual maintenance at the cottage, but also got out for a walk from Traeth Porthor over to Caffi Siop Plas and back via Mynydd Carreg. Bumped into some cows on the coastal path too, as well as a field full of chicory, plantain, clover and all sorts of other wildflowers.
Now back at the cottage gently heating the fireplace to help cure the fire cement. I've now accepted an offer on Glasfryn so this may be one of my last few visits 😔

A great weekend highlighting why this part of north Wales is just the best. A fairly last minute decision to tackle Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) with my youngest (9) and a lovely day down at Traeth Porthor/Porth Oer.
My knee might not forgive me yet, but these are great memories to have ☺️

There are still some weeks available at the cottage between now and the end of summer with no sign of a sale happening any time soon!

£25 per person, per night. BYO bedding & towels and clean the house as you leave so I can keep it this cheap.

Missing the evening walks on the beach! I love this about Pen Llyn, that you can walk along a sandy beach with Eryri forming a beautiful backdrop 😍

The night sky here on the Llyn Peninsula is just something else. This is looking over towards Anglesey from Mynydd Mawr, the Milky Way cutting diagonally across the picture.
If you ever head here on holiday, make yourself get out at midnight and just marvel at universe layed out before you 🤩

Beautiful weather down at Aberdaron today! We set up early to make the most of it and the girls loved the water, even if it was a touch chilly! Now home to get ready to pop out to .coed for dinner.
If you are visiting the Llyn and haven't found this gem then you really need to make a point of doing so. It's evolved into now being entirely encompassed inside what could be described as a giant hangar, with the massive fire still there and a big outside area too.

A beautiful day on the Llyn Peninsula, maybe one of the last we'll get to enjoy staying at Glasfryn. More fun tomorrow at Bounce Below, followed by some time at the beach and out for dinner at Crust.
