Tyn y Big is currently available for the October school-holiday week — a private country house surrounded by 10 acres of gardens, fields and woodland, with plenty of space for families and friends to get away together.

Think autumn walks, quiet beaches, days exploring the Llŷn Peninsula and cosy evenings back at the house. And with Halloween falling during the holidays this year, perhaps a little pumpkin carving too. 🎃

A country escape on the Llŷn Peninsula 🌿

Set amongst 10 acres of private gardens, fields and woodland, Tyn y Big is tucked away in the beautiful countryside of the Llŷn Peninsula.

Follow the long private driveway through the grounds and you’ll find the house surrounded by open countryside and far-reaching views. Peaceful and secluded, yet only around 15 minutes from Abersoch.

With seven bedrooms, sleeping up to 13 guests with space for 2 additional guests if required, there’s plenty of room to bring everyone together, and 10 acres to spread out and enjoy once you’re here.

Explore the Llŷn 🌊

Set in the peaceful countryside of the Llŷn Peninsula, Tyn y Big makes a wonderful base for exploring this beautiful corner of North Wales.

From sweeping beaches and hidden coves to scenic coastal walks, pretty villages and great places to eat, there’s so much to discover. ✨

Spend the day exploring the coast, wander a section of the Llŷn Coast Path, visit Aberdaron or Abersoch, stop for lunch overlooking the sea, then head back to the peace and quiet of Tyn y Big.

One of the things we love most about being here is having so much of the Llŷn Peninsula within easy reach.

At the heart of the house is our farmhouse kitchen, connected to the light-filled conservatory dining area and leading into the spacious main lounge — perfect for settling in after a day exploring Llŷn.

Tyn y Big is a beautifully restored historic Welsh country home, set in 10 acres of private gardens, fields and woodland on the Llŷn Peninsula, just 15 minutes from Abersoch.

Sleeping up to 13 guests across 7 bedrooms, with space for 2 additional guests if required, there’s a well-appointed country kitchen, spacious lounge with log burner, conservatory dining area, cosy snug and plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together.

Family owned since 1968, Tyn y Big is a wonderful place for family holidays, weekends with friends and special gatherings, and a fantastic base for exploring the Llŷn Peninsula.
