Welcome to week two of our summer posts. This week, we are focusing on the peace and tranquility of the Llŷn peninsula. The good news is that it is all around you. This bench is on the headland at Porth Ysgadden which is just a short drive from Tudweiliog. Be prepared for a breathtaking experience in more ways than one as it can be windy up there!

Take a look at our property number 55 which is in a rural location in Rhoshirwaun, near Aberdaron, and number 28 in Ceidio, near Nefyn. Both properties guarantee a quiet holiday.

Outside of the summer holidays, you will find many empty beaches to walk on. In the summer, if you are searching for somewhere quieter, explore the peninsula the old-fashioned way with an ordinance survey map. You will be sure to discover lanes leading to stunning coastal elevations such as Y Rhiw or hidden coves …but sshhhhh keep them secret!

We are excited to tell you about our top 10 reasons to visit the Llŷn Peninsula. Watch out for our Friday features from June 12-21 August. Each week we release one of our reasons for holidaying on the Llŷn matched with a few suggestions of our listed properties to holiday in.

So…..here we go….Reason 1- Incredible beaches

Porthdinllaen is well known for its pub on the beach. But stay at number 15 or number 38 and walk across the sand from Morfa Nefyn , through Porthdinllaen and round the headland to discover Lifeboat Bay.

Walk across the beach in Nefyn and enjoy using the beach hut when staying at number 41…and the 2027 calendar for this property is already open!

Stroll from the apartment (number 1), along the long and empty Pwllheli beach and back via the promenade. This walk is a firm favourite of mine when food shopping in town!

With Aberdaron, Hells Mouth and Whistling Sands easy to reach by car, which is your favourite beach on the Llŷn peninsula?

What a lovely day. 🌞 3rd year at the Nefyn Show and another opportunity to talk with familiar and new faces about holidays and letting on the beautiful Llyn peninsula. This year, we have new tote bags…great for Nefyn Show shopping and then beach trips! It was good to explore the show ground and I bought a table lamp with a hand painted shade ♥️
