We work directly with corporate clients and support architects and property developers by tailoring technical services to deliver specific project objectives. We combine our expertise to deliver a full design service solution from site survey and feasibility through concept design, layout planning and technical detailing to achieve planning approval and building regulations consent; this efficient “one-stop” service benefits building alteration, adaptation and refurbishment schemes. We use the latest 3D Laser Survey Scanners and design technology to generate precision building and land models; the accurate foundation for Building Information Modelling (BIM) projects. We are expert in Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Revit design software offering the option of traditional 2D or 3D (BIM) design paths. Our competitive fixed fees are quoted and charged by stage, a reassuring approach that keeps you in constant control of progress and expenditure.

On February 6th Design Base will celebrate 20 years in business. This is a significant achievement of which the Shareholders, Directors and Employees are duly proud.

Design Base is an outstanding success story having returned investment hundreds of times over. It remains so today thanks to its incredible thirst for progress and the ability to adapt quickly to economic conditions.

There have been many faces of Design Base since foundation but none with the promise of today’s team and advanced service proposition. We are excited about our prospects for the future.

Behind everything has been the strength and guidance of David, the original founder and Managing Director. His will and determination has kept the business moving forward through thick and thin. The day will be particularly special for him, but he won’t rest for long. Let’s also acknowledge the contribution of Jane and Charmaine, both there at the beginning, as important to our past as they will be in the years ahead.

Finally, we wish to offer our immense appreciation to our valued customers, without you nothing is possible. You have been amazing, and we cannot thank you enough. We are looking forward to working with you throughout the next 20 years.

As with all our milestones we will be celebrating as a united and happy team. First in a mass clay pigeon shoot and then a champagne reception
