We are well positioned for receiving mobile phone and data services from the mast on the eastern side of the property that is positioned approximately 0.6 mile away. It can be clearly be seen by line of sight from some of the buildings but not all of them. All of the buildings could receive a good service if the correct antenna is used. The two service providers that I know are offering a good 4G+ and 5G service from this mast are EE and Three. I know other service providers are available but don't know what type of service they offer and is entirely dependent on which building you are in as to which is best.

Mobile broadband with Three for both domestic and business has now become cost effective service giving a good 4G+ and 5G reception. This is what we are using in the farm house for all our broadband needs, getting 112-187Mbps download and average upload speeds of around 100Mbps using a Huawei 5G CPE Pro router. The router is placed at the window of my office which faces the mast. I have also seen the same speeds using mobile phones.

We had a power cut early on Friday morning which made me jump out of bed due to burgular alarms going off. A tree had fallen onto the line close to the farm and had to be removed. Many thanks to the Western Power guys who got power back on again by mid morning.

Power problems this morning. Tree fell on the power line. Having to use camping stove for morning cuppa while it gets fixed.

Woke up this morning expecting to have have a poor mobile broadband service with bad reception to the mast due to the fact that the router is behind the left hand window on the garage which is covered in snow. Did a speed test and much to my surprise the speed is better this morning than normal. There's no logic anymore in this world.

The Fitout Pontoon finished their bosses boat. Careful boys, don't scratch that one! It didn't get scratched fortunately.
Special boat that one. Great to see it progress along from start to finish at the farm.
