I've just received a 5 FIGURE SETTLEMENT of almost £30,000, having extended my Section 21 Notice in January this year by SIX months, all WITHOUT a solicitor who would have taken a 25% cut.
This was all initiated by my receiving a Retaliatory Eviction (Revenge Eviction) Section 21 Notice being issued to me for complaining about 16 years' worth of repairs not being undertaken on the beautiful Grade 2 Listed Georgian townhouse my family and I lived in - I've complained and kept extensive records and proof during this period due to damp, a leaking roof, flooded cellar impacting on my neighbour's property) etc etc, the list goes on....
The property which was our much loved (albeit rented home) for just over 16 years has just been sold - cash buyer only due to the extensive works needed - no mortgage would ever be granted due to the severity of the negligence.
