Another chimney rebuild completed by Saxon Brickwork 🧱🏠

From start to finish, we carefully took down the existing chimney as the brickwork had deteriorated and the structural integrity was no longer up to standard.

The chimney was then rebuilt properly from the ground up, bringing everything back solid, secure and looking sharp. Finished off with the chimney pots haunched neatly into position for a clean, traditional finish.

Really pleased with how this one turned out. 👌🧱

Regrettably, the old pillar was compromised due to the growth of ivy at its base, necessitating its reconstruction. To address this issue, we have installed a new 300mm pier, topped with a coping stone to provide a protective cap and ensure structural integrity. Additionally, weatherstruck pointing has been applied to the joints to enhance durability and prevent water infiltration.
