A frozen condensate pipe on a boiler can prevent the system from operating properly, often causing the boiler to shut down as a safety measure. This typically happens in cold weather when the external section of the condensate pipe freezes, blocking the flow of acidic wastewater away from the boiler. One effective way to unfreeze the pipe is by carefully pouring hot (not boiling) water from a kettle over the frozen section, starting from the boiler end and working outward. The heat from the water gently melts the ice inside the pipe, restoring normal flow and allowing the boiler to restart once the blockage is cleared.

This week seen the wait come to and end after national heritage approval after 19 long months to start the completion of 32 new bathroom suites on an ongoing project at the Falmouth hotel after not being touched for the last 36 years . Whilst getting underfloor ready and completed on are Portreath job and finish on a refurb in carnon downs of 2 bathrooms full new heating system unvented cylinder and new Worcester Bosch oil boiler ! 💥 💥

Due to contracts and expansion we are currently seeking a plumbing and heating engineer. 🔥 💥

Gas qualification is not essential but would be an advantage.
NVQ qualification required.
Must have a full, clean driving license.

Main duties will include:
Full bathroom refurbs within a commercial setting ( hotels )
Installations in schools and colleges throughout Cornwall ( CRB check to be carried out )
Boiler installations and upgrades
Full central heating installations.
Breakdowns and repairs

4 days a week 8-6
5 days a week 8-4.30

This is a full time employed position available to the right candidate.

Rate of pay to be discussed given on experience and qualifications.

The candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, punctual. And have customer satisfaction at there forefront.

To say we’re happy with the result of this one would be an understatement !!! Through the traumas of hexagonal patterned tiles. We got there introducing wet room tray to overcome life’s hurdles. utopia flawless finished worktop and fitted furniture.
