💜 Bugler Foundation funds 1,000 Signpost Counselling sessions 💜
The Bugler Team were pleased to have continued our long-standing relationship with Signpost Counselling, by funding 1,000 sessions through the Bugler Foundation.
Signpost aims to support children and young people in Hertfordshire by offering a safe and confidential space for them to talk about their mental health in the hope of supporting them to develop coping strategies, to build their self-esteem and confidence.
Signpost receives hundreds of referrals, and the funding has also helped reduce the time from referral to first counselling session. Their team has also been training a further three volunteer counsellors, allowing them to offer more accessible counselling.
Andy Bugler, Bugler Group CEO, said, “We understand the importance of mental health and the important work that Signpost Counselling provides across Hertfordshire. At a time where there is an increase in counselling from the age of five, our latest donation will help fund 1,000 sessions for children and young people who are in need of mental health support. It means a lot to continue to build on our relationship with Signpost, and the OneYMCA team.”
