🔨 Another Great Project Completed 🔨

I recently had the pleasure of assisting the team phil and Beaver Plastering on this fantastic project for forshaw developments, transforming a newly boarded space into a smooth, ready-to-decorate finish.

All boarding and beading work had been completed prior to my arrival, and I was asked to come in and assist with the plastering phase of the project. The room featured high vaulted ceilings, multiple roof windows, and plenty of angles, making it a rewarding space to work on.

Working alongside other skilled trades is always something I enjoy, and it was great to help bring this impressive extension one step closer to completion. The finished plasterwork has left the space with clean lines, smooth surfaces, and a professional finish throughout.

A big thank you to steve of Beaver Plastering for inviting me to lend a hand on this one. It was a pleasure to be involved and see the transformation from boarded shell to a fully plastered room.

Another successful transformation completed by New Forest Finishes and Tim Carroll Plastering for pro build

This property required extensive preparation before we could even think about applying the final skim coat. The client asked us to strip multiple layers of wallpaper throughout the property and restore the walls back to a smooth, modern finish ready for decoration.

🔨 Works carried out included:

✔ Removal of existing wallpaper throughout
✔ Stripping back damaged and loose materials
✔ Repairing numerous areas of wall damage and previous alterations
✔ Making good chased-in electrical work and old fixing points
✔ Surface preparation and patch repairs where required
✔ Full skim coat application to all designated walls

As you can see from the before photos, many of the walls had suffered years of wear, previous repairs and damage hidden beneath layers of wallpaper. With the correct preparation and attention to detail, we were able to completely transform the surfaces and leave the property with clean, flat walls ready for the next stage of renovation.

The smooth finish achieved throughout has given the rooms a fresh new lease of life and provides the perfect foundation for decorating.

A huge difference from where we started, and another very happy customer.

Another project completed last week ✅

Myself and Tim Carroll Plastering were asked to come in by southpride property maintenance and freshen up this hallway and entrance area after multiple areas of damage and previous fittings had been removed from the walls.

Our role on this project was to fully prepare, prime, and plaster all affected areas to bring the walls back to a smooth, clean finish ready for decoration. All damaged sections were carefully repaired, walls were properly primed beforehand, and the entire area was skimmed out to create a modern seamless finish throughout.

Working in tight hallway spaces always requires extra care and attention, especially around existing woodwork, radiators, lighting, and flooring, but everything was fully protected throughout the process and left clean and tidy on completion.

The fresh plaster has completely transformed the feel of the space and has left the client with a perfect base ready for decorating. Really pleased with how this one turned out 👌

Another project recently completed for The Confidence Group 🔥

Myself and Tim Carroll Plastering were brought in to carry out a full plastering package after the existing kitchen had been stripped back, leaving a mixture of old surfaces, exposed chases, patch repairs and damaged areas throughout. As you can see from the before photos, there was a lot of preparation involved before we could even begin applying the finish coats.

All walls were carefully prepped, repaired and primed where required to ensure a solid, consistent background ready for plastering. Multiple areas had been patched and bonded out beforehand, with existing imperfections flattened back to achieve the best possible finish. We also carried out repairs around electrical alterations and ceiling cut-outs to leave everything ready for the next stage of the renovation.

Once preparation was complete, the room was skimmed to create a fresh, smooth and modern finish throughout. Attention to detail is always key on jobs like this, especially when working around existing ceilings, downlights, archways, window reveals and kitchen service areas.

The transformation speaks for itself 👌

Another project recently completed by InStyle Property Maintenance and Tim Carroll Plastering ✔️

We were asked to come in and completely transform these rooms back to a fresh, smooth finish ready for the next stage of renovation. As you can see from the before photos, the property was in need of a lot of preparation and repair work before any plastering could begin.

The job involved extensive boarding work done by the customer, patch repairs, preparation to damaged walls and ceilings, along with rebuilding and straightening areas where previous alterations had been carried out. Once everything was securely prepared, we fully skimmed the rooms to create a clean, modern finish throughout.

The bathroom area required a lot of attention due to the mix of old surfaces, exposed sections, and newly boarded areas. Everything was carefully tied together and plastered to leave a seamless finish ready for second fix and decoration.

In the main room, all walls and ceilings were brought back to life with a fresh skim coat, transforming the space from tired and dated into a bright, smooth room ready for the customer to move forward with the renovation.

A huge amount of prep goes into jobs like this before the plaster even touches the wall, but taking the time to do things properly is what gives the best final result 👌

Really pleased with how this one turned out and great to see the transformation from start to finish.
