🏆 CELEBRATING LOCAL SPORT

We’re delighted to share that Seymours Netball Club has been named Sports Club of the Year at the Runnymede Civic Awards 2026.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved — especially coach and founder Jan Turner, whose vision helped bring the club to life. What began in 2011 as a simple idea to create a friendly, judgement-free return to netball has grown into a thriving club.

Today the team fields five squads across the Surrey & Kingston leagues, bringing together up to 70 women aged 16–50 each week. Built on friendship, fitness and plenty of camaraderie, the club perfectly reflects our shared aim of engaging with the local community while creating opportunities for competitive sport — with a huge amount of fun along the way. 👏
