Carers Together We are a charity providing support for unpaid carers in Hampshire. Or perhaps they are isolated or struggling to cope.

Carers Together supports relatives, friends or neighbours - who are looking after or are concerned about another person. This may be because they are old and frail, have a disability or a long or short term health condition. We are a carer-led organisation that offers support for people living anywhere in Hampshire including Southampton and Portsmouth. Our website provides information about how to link to other carers, learn about the available support and how to access it for your own needs. We offer a variety of services including; advocacy, help with filling in benefits forms, a personal support service in the home (limited to certain areas), planning for emergencies and applying for Direct Payments, regular coffee mornings and outings. We also run a regular Computer Cafe in Romsey and Woolston for beginners. Please do contact us with any queries you may have

Making a Donation

Please support us. Most of our services are provided free to carers. We do need regular donations to help us continue with this vital work. Carers Together is a charity run by carers for carers. Carers Rights Day - Thursday 19 November

Many people who look after someone don’t see themselves as an unpaid carer. They simply see it as being there for their friend, family member or neighbour, and can often miss out on support as a result.

This Carers Rights Day, we’re coming together to help people recognise they’re a carer sooner.

Because knowing you’re an unpaid carer is the first step to knowing your rights and getting the support you are entitled to.
