Now is the best time of year to witness the stunning changing colours in the natural world. šŸ

With over 20 million trees across the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, there's plenty of colour for you to chase.

To help you follow it, we created the UK's first dedicated Leaf Peeping Drive, a 50-mile circular route linking 10 autumn hotspots. It’s completely free to use so head to the link below today.

The best colours usually appear around now and last till early November. So we recommend getting it a date in the dairy and heading out as soon as possible.

šŸ° Did You Know? The Castle Was Once a Luxurious Home

It's easy to think of castles as military fortresses—but Goodrich Castle was also a comfortable family home.

Behind these impressive stone walls were private chambers, kitchens, a great hall for entertaining guests, and living spaces designed for everyday life. The castle wasn't just built to defend—it was built to impress.

As you explore, imagine the sounds of daily life: the crackle of the fire in the Great Hall, the bustle of servants preparing meals, and the conversations that once echoed through the corridors.
