To support our continued growth, we are recruiting for several experienced multi-skilled operative/labourers with a Construction background to work on current and new contracts across Herefordshire & Gloucestershire. We are actively looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic multi-skilled operatives to join our team and carry out new works and support ongoing customers.

Skills Needed:

Stud Work, Plasterboarding, First & Second Fix Carpentry, labouring.

Building work experience, Brick & Block Laying, Groundworks

Basic Plumbing

Team Player, willing to get involved in a variety of different things.

Training available for the right candidate

Applicants should have experience of various disciplines and have extensive previous experience in the construction industry. You will also be expected to hold a full clean UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.

Ideally the start date for this permanent position would be immediate, but we can be flexible for the right person.

The candidates will:

Be experienced in various construction disciplines - essential
Hold a valid CSCS Card - advantageous
Be able to show experience and knowledge of working on various sites in a similar role

Preferred experience/skills:

Full clean UK/EC driving licence.
Access to own car
A Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card - desirable
Able to communicate at all levels
Physically fit.
Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
Must be flexible with working hours.
40 hours per week basic plus additional hours as required

The current situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to evolve, with major implications for public health & human safety.
BGD Property Group & Drummond Property have taken the decision to stop all construction and renovation projects.

We are continually reviewing our approach in line with the latest government advice, and will update you if anything changes.

For emergency & essential property maintenance issues please contact The Ross Property Hub. Response times are slower and please be patient as all office staff are working from home.

You may still see one or two of our vehicles on the road, but be assured these will only be involved in supplying contracts that are deemed an essential part of the critical infrastructure support that is advised by government policy.
