And that’s a wrap 😃… After 4 months we’ve finally finished the house renovation… 😅 🏡. Everyone said to us “just put cheap landlord specials in” but as we’ve said all along we wanted to create a home for our tenants and not a house.. The new tenant moves into his new home today.
What do you think of the difference.? Should we have stuck to “landlord specials”?? Let us know in the comments.

First fix of the kitchen completed today… Metro tiles on order and the white porcelain sink to be fitted next week (we didn’t like the stainless steel ones so we opted for an upgrade).. Some more painting to do tomorrow and loads of rubbish to dispose of 😅.. It’s never ending. 😂 what do you think of the kitchen colour.?

So today we put the first coat of white on the walls (a mist for the new plaster) what a difference white walls make 😁 so much brighter and we now have a new kitchen ceiling.

So today the bathroom tiles came off, the rest of the architraves and preparations have started for the new chimney breast. As you can see the plaster is drying nicely and will soo be ready for its first coat of paint 😄😄. Another step closer. 🏡

Kitchen has been ordered and we are picking the new bathroom panels next week.
Next job is to rip all the remaining carpets out then to start on then woodwork and new doors.. What do you think.? 😁

The house is coming along nicely now. All the kitchen has been ripped out, the majority of the wallpaper has been stripped and prepped for plastering. The new windows and doors have gone in today and made such a massive difference… I know a lot of people said “just put cheap in” but we want to create a home and not a house.. Let us know what you think so far in the comments 🏡 😁
