7 years ago, Darren founded DWPM to give homeowners and businesses a single, hassle free, point of contact for property owners/managers.

Darren started out as a painter, long before DWPM was founded, later qualifying as an electrician moving him into repairs and wider maintenance work. Along the way, he understood how complex it can become for someone to juggle all the trades, without the technical knowledge of timings and what needed to be done before the next step could start.

With a breadth of knowledge across multiple trades, Darren decided to create DWPM to help solve this issue. He brings his know-how and project management skills to residential and commercial projects, so you have one contact who manages everything and a skilled team ready to get the job done.

The best maintenance is the work you don’t notice.

For DWPM, the perfect finish starts way before the paint goes on or the repair is actually completed. Our team properly assesses the situation, identifying the cause of an issue and making sure the underlying problem is addressed at the start, rather than just covering it up!

That could mean:

✔️ Removing loose, flaking or failed coatings
✔️ Filling cracks, dents and imperfections
✔️ Sanding and preparing surfaces to create the right key
✔️ Treating mould, staining, damp-related damage or contamination
✔️ Identifying and repairing the source of leaks to prevent further damage
✔️ Using the correct primer or sealer
✔️ Making sure surfaces are clean, dry and suitably prepared before application
✔️ Protecting floors, fixtures and surrounding areas throughout the work
✔️ Using the right products and application methods for the surface and environment
