DMP Appointed on Roof Refurbishment Project at Kent College, Canterbury

DMP are pleased to have been instructed by Kent College, Canterbury, to carry out a measured survey and prepare a detailed specification for proposed roof works and external repairs to the existing Art Block.

Our role will include preparing tender documentation, procuring competitive quotations, and administering the works under a JCT Minor Works Contract during the summer holiday period.

Early surveys and clear specifications are key to defining works accurately, securing competitive pricing, and delivering efficiently within a live educational environment and tight programme.

Gravesend Primary School Summer Refurbishment & External Works.

DMP are pleased to have been instructed to undertake a measured survey and develop the client brief in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team at a Primary School in Gravesend.

The project includes the preparation of detailed drawings and specifications for a programme of internal refurbishment works, including redecoration, replacement floor finishes, and the creation of new office accommodation to support the school’s operational requirements.

The scheme also incorporates external alterations, including extended playground provision and the removal of an existing temporary classroom block.

DMP will shortly be seeking competitive quotations on behalf of the client, with the works to be administered under a JCT Minor Works Contract over a tight five-week summer holiday programme.

Early planning, clear briefing, and robust tender documentation remain essential to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and ready for occupation ahead of the new academic year.
