Fabulous place and in a great location
We are just back from a three night stay at this gorgeous chic barn conversion in unspoilt, peaceful countryside in the heart of rural Norfolk and its stunning! Chestnut Barn is tastefully decorated in gorgeous heritage colours retaining all its old world rustic charm with quirky features and stylish touches We loved the wealth of original oak beams throughout,the super cool mix of traditional and funky furnishings, deep squidgy sofas in the huge lounge set on the first floor and two spacious bedrooms with the most comfortable bed and bedding to fall into which gave us the most comfortable sleep and the most relaxing and rejuvenating early summer break imaginable As well as lots of essential items left for us in the kitchen a thoughtful touch and one very gratefully recieved, there was a very generous welcome basket of Norfolk artisan produce left for us too including jams,honey chocolate,cookies and apple juice As the weather was good we made the most of the outside seating areas,complete with swing seat to soak up the sun and enjoy a drink as we watched the sun go down in perfectly peaceful rural surroundings For families with dogs there are doggie treats and they even have their own real leather button backed Chesterfield dog bed to sleep in too We loved the location of Chestnut Barn which is close to the coast, a short drive into Norwich and Great Yarmouth and is situated in the heart of the picturesque Norfolk Broads making it an ideal base to explore the area We loved our stay and plan on retaining again later in the year
