We know all of the best places to enjoy the sea, culture and history that make this picture postcard pocket of the East Sussex and Kent coast the perfect destination for your well-deserved break! Every property in our selective portfolio is exclusive to Beside The Sea Holidays and in keeping with our demanding standards. If we have put our name to it you can be assured that the accommodation of a quality that you will relish spending your precious holiday time in. Our portfolio of holiday homes is intentionally small, we know all of the cottages inside out, we know that every property has its own personality from beach chic and contemporary to homely and cosy therefore we are able to give a personal service and advise on exactly which property will suit you, so please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will match-make you with your ideal holiday cottage. All of our properties, are, as the name suggests, beside the sea (well within 5 minutes’… leisurely… holiday… stroll) and all are dwellings that we have been happy to certify as ‘Beside The Sea’ quality - and we are, really fussy – places where you can relax, unwind and simply-enjoy-being. Where the whole family – or just you and - delete as necessary - your beau/four-legged friend/two-legged friend/yourself, will feel at home and sleep your long, lazy, R&R zzz’s in comfort. Each property has an Information pack full of ideas, tips and recommendations for your holiday – all thoroughly researched and tested by us; days out, activities, walks, restaurants and we are also on hand to help with suggestions or to help create you and your friends and family and custom itineraries – just let us know before you arrive what your interests are and we’ll help with some ideas, anything from suggestions to helping you plan trips and make necessary reservations, before or once you arrive. It goes without saying that all of our cottages are cleaned just prior to and made up ready for your stay – many of the cottages have zip-link beds which can be supplied as twins or double so let us know how you want them and we can ensure the cottage is made up to your requirements. All stays include use of bed linen and towels so there is no need to pack your own – simply use the fluffy ones we supply and we’ll look after the laundry after your stay. If you are staying for more than a week we can arrange for a fresh set of laundry to be supplied mid-way through your stay. If your holiday is in aid of a special occasion – anniversary, birthday or just because the family have been able to get together, let us help make that occasion all the more special – we can help with planning special days or having your cottage decorated to mark the occasion in style or help book or organise a special surprise for a loved one – whatever it is you want to do – discuss it with us beforehand and we will do all we can to help make your VIP’s special day as magical as possible. Love spending time with the family but would also like to escape and enjoy just each other’s’ (or your own) company for a few hours? Ask us about our baby-sitting service, we’d be more than happy to help out and we are first aid trained and fully CRB checked. Want to arrive and get settled in without any hassle? If you wish to arrange food deliveries we can recommend some excellent caterers or simply be there to take delivery of your pre-ordered grocery shopping which we will unpack ready and waiting for your arrival for that home-from-home feeling. Four-legged friend? Ask about our pooch-friendly-pads and not only will your cottage be happy to have your hound and Fido will also have all he needs to settle on down (after that essential walk on the beach)! Little ones in your holiday group? Let us help take some of the hassle out of organising your break with tiny tots, we can supply some of those bulky items saving you having to pack more than you can fit in the car; baby baths, travel cots, bottle sterilisers and toys – advise us if you’ve got a little person with you and we will advise what we can help supply so you can pack that little bit lighter.
