COMPLETED: 305 acres at White House Farm, King's Lynn

Our Farm Agency team are delighted to have completed the sale of 305 acres (123.44 hectares) on the southern edge of King's Lynn.

Strategically positioned alongside the established Saddlebow Industrial Estate with direct access to the A47, the holding included around 35 acres allocated for employment, scope for renewable energy projects and productive Grade 2 soils. Last Saturday, members of Ceres Group attended THE ORSETT SHOW, where we sponsored the prize cards for the Agriculture Competition.

The competition showcased the very best of local farming, with impressive entries across a range of categories celebrating the quality, skill and dedication of growers from across the region. Congratulations to all the winners, and to everyone who took part.

It was fantastic to see so many entries on display and to be part of an event that champions agricultural excellence, recognises the achievements of local producers, and brings the farming community together.

What better way to mark the end of harvest than with over 100 clients, colleagues and friends coming together for a great evening of food, conversation and celebration?

Last night’s Ceres End of Harvest Celebration at Pleshey Barn was a chance to pause after a demanding harvest, enjoy some good food and drink, and reflect on the season with people from across the rural community.

Guests heard from Edward Rout on the continued growth of Ceres Group and the exciting opportunities ahead. Robert Gazely spoke about Routes to Regen, the future of SFI and the upcoming Ceres AgriStrategy Conference, while Tom Streeter from YANA, our chosen charity for 2026, highlighted the important work the charity does to support mental health and wellbeing within the farming community.

One of the strongest themes of the evening was the importance of connection. Following a challenging harvest, it was wonderful to see so many people come together to catch up, share experiences and enjoy an evening in good company.

Thank you to everyone who attended and for the fantastic feedback. We look forward to doing it all again next year 🥂

The revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) has now been published, bringing some of the most significant planning policy changes in recent years.

The updated framework introduces National Decision-Making Policies (NDMPs), stronger support for development around well-connected transport hubs, a new category for medium-scale developments, and measures aimed at speeding up planning decisions.

Alongside the revised NPPF, the government has also released the long-awaited 2024 and 2025 Housing Delivery Test results, which could have important implications for housing delivery and planning applications across many local authority areas.
