The branch manager from our Truro office is taking on the London Marathon in 2027! šš¼š
Reece's goal is to raise Ā£5000 for an AMAZING cause š¤©
Here's his story:
"Iāve decided to take on a marathon and raise money for Samaritans.
The marathon will undoubtedly be one of the hardest physical challenges Iāve ever taken on, but every mile will have a purpose beyond simply reaching the finish line. Iāll be running for the people who are struggling silently, for those who donāt know who to turn to, and for everyone who has ever needed someone to listen.
Iāve been in a position where I needed that person.
Now I want to help make sure that person is there for someone else.
If my fundraising can help Samaritans continue to be there for even one person on the other end of the phone when they desperately need someone to talk to, every mile will be worth it.
Please donate if you can, but more importantly, please talk. Check in on your mates. Ask the question. And if youāre struggling yourself, donāt suffer in silence."
