We celebrate Britain's first saint today.

Today, we celebrate Alban as Britain’s first saint. We remember his courage in welcoming a stranger who was being hunted for his beliefs. One ordinary man who did an extraordinary thing🌹 Join us at 11am at St Peter’s Church for the Alban Pilgrimage, a magnificent procession to celebrate St Alban. Continue the fun at our Tudor Festival on the Orchard from 12noon - 5pm.

At 12noon all are invited to join our Choral Eucharist, with preacher Paula Gooder, Chancellor of St Paul's Cathedral.

At 2pm all are welcome to join the Orthodox Service and Veneration of the Relic at the Shrine of Saint Alban
Organised by the Ecumenical Chaplaincy and Romanian Orthodox Church, Luton.
~
At 3pm there will be an Anointing for Healing in the Lady Chapel.
~
At 4pm, join us for Evensong, where Inderjit Bhogal OBE will preach. This service ends with a procession to the shrine of St Alban, where red roses are placed on the shrine in honour of Britain’s first saint and martyr.🌹
