One of the things we love most about Cornwall is that there are always new places to explore.

We recently spent a few hours at Cape Cornwall, one of the county's most dramatic and peaceful headlands. The combination of rugged cliffs, turquoise water and fascinating mining history makes it a wonderful place for a walk, with spectacular views in every direction.

It's quieter than some of Cornwall's better-known landmarks, which makes it even more special. If you enjoy coastal walks, photography or simply taking in the scenery, it's definitely worth adding to your itinerary.

For guests staying at The Lodge Polgooth, it's an easy day trip and a lovely way to experience a different corner of Cornwall.
