Friday afternoons entertainment is Dave Michaelson , a few residents missing ,due to holidays ,weddings etc but we will have a great afternoons entertainment as usual...all welcome

🎶☕ A BUSY WEEK IN THE VILLAGE! ☕🎶

We’ve got plenty happening at Reeve Court this coming week.

🎵 Thursday 24th September
The CDP Choir will be performing in The Hall from 10.30am. Come along, enjoy the music and give them a warm Reeve Court welcome.

💚 Friday 25th September – 10.30am
The Macmillan Coffee Morning will be taking place in The Bistro. Come along for a cuppa, a chat and help support a very worthwhile cause.

🎤 Friday 25th September – Afternoon Entertainment
Then later in the day we have more entertainment in The Hall, with DAVE MICHAELSON performing for us.

Doors open from 1.30pm

Dave should provide us with a very good afternoon’s entertainment, so come along and enjoy the show.

THURSDAY – WHEN TELEVISION WAS AN EVENT 📺

🌞 Good Morning from Reeve Court!

There was a time when television wasn't on all day and all night.

You checked the TV Times, waited for your programme to start and the whole family often watched the same programme together.

No pausing it. No recording six channels at once. No asking, “What's the Wi-Fi password?”

And if you missed it… you missed it! 😄

From Coronation Street and Opportunity Knocks to Morecambe & Wise, The Generation Game and Saturday night variety shows, television really was an occasion.

Which television programme from years gone by would you love to see brought back exactly as it was?

🎄 A Christmas Treat for Reeve Court Residents! 🎭

Radis Community Care has arranged a festive trip to Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot to see A Christmas Carol – A Modern Take on a Classic!

🚌 Coach travel included

It should be a lovely Christmas afternoon out and a great way to get into the festive spirit.

🎄 Reeve Court Christmas Fair – Stall Bookings Now Open! 🎄

Following the fantastic success of our Summer Fair, we’re looking forward to another great day at the Reeve Court Christmas Fair on Saturday 14th November, 11.00am–3.00pm.

If you would like to have a stall, tables are still only £15 each.

If you have previously tried to book a table, please try again, as the committee member dealing with the bookings is now back from holiday and ready to take reservations.

Spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Just a quick update regarding the Reeve Court page.

The regular Good Morning posts, which are normally posted at around 7.00am, will now be scheduled to go out at around 8.00am. This will hopefully help us continue to build the page and reach more residents, relatives and friends of Reeve Court.

We are also looking at posting the monthly Reeve Court Newsletter on the page. Before anything is published, any personal, private or sensitive information would of course be removed or redacted where necessary.

WEDNESDAY – SCHOOL DAYS 🎒

🌞 Good Morning from Reeve Court!

School days certainly weren't quite the same as they are today.

Blackboards and chalk, ink pens, wooden desks, school milk and teachers who only needed to give you the look for the whole classroom to go silent.

PE was often outside whether it was sunshine, rain or practically a blizzard — and somehow we survived. 😂

Then there were school dinners… some lovely, some better left buried in the past!

What is the strongest memory you have from your school days — a favourite teacher, lesson, school dinner or bit of mischief?
