Just been to do photos of a super bungalow on the seaward side of Carbis Bay that has been in the same family since it was built in the late 50’s / early 60’s. I saw this amazing old radio that belonged to the owners mum and dad. She always remembers it as a young girl listening to Toy Town and Childrens Hour in the late 40’s and 50’s along with the odd Western and her mum and dad listened to it when they broadcast the end of World War 2.
Love little bits of history like that and then you realise every home has a story and the bits and bobs in it too
