Out with the old - and in with the new! After a busy and beautiful week of painting and refurbishment at the cottage, we now have a new king size bed installed with spotlights. Mostly lovely walking days again and a happy dog! We 'borrow' Bertie as he is now living happily at Higher Bostraze farm.

Wonderful few days at Banjo Cottage. First time we've been there for Lafrowda festival. Some great live music, stalls lined up all the way down Cape Cornwall Street outside the cottage ( very handy for trying things on and a bit of shopping) and the Lantern parade was spectacular.
Lucky to get a couple of beautiful days also but look at the night time photos - magical...

Caught a tiny bit of Poldark on Sunday night and saw a lovely view of the Brisons from Carn Gloose. Inspired to post my own photo of the Brisons at dusk. Saw that Boat Cove /Portheras had made it into top 5 or 10 beaches in the Guardian last week. We're not surprised, such beautiful views and walking. A very special place.
