Part time PA /Administration Assistant to Director (8-16 hours p/week)
Role
To provide secretarial and full administrative support to Director of Property Development and Investment Company. This includes organisation, administrative and project support. The opportunity offers someone the chance to be fully involved in the company’s progression, bringing ideas to the table, and to make the role their own as the company grows.
Key responsibilities and challenges
* Project budgeting, including tracking project costs, reconciliation, and monitoring expenditure against budget
* Basic accounting/bookkeeping
* Drafting emails and letters
* Setting up staff contracts and related paperwork, including liaising with accountants regarding PAYE
* Management of insurance policies and invoices for properties
* Placing online/phone orders for materials, liaising with suppliers, including negotiating favourable prices for property furnishings
* General company administration
Skills & Experience required:
* Skills/Experience
* Articulate and confident in communicating(written and verbal)
* High attention to detail
* Well organised and able to use initiative to plan ahead
* Proactive, adaptable, and responsive
* Office skills
* Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and ideally Xero
* Strong organisational/self-management skills
* Proven IT skills and an interest in new ways of doing things
* Numerate, preferably with basic booking /finance experience
* Character
* Positive ‘can do’ attitude, building relationships with suppliers/clients
* Professional approach, strong integrity
* Displays common sense and good judgement
The role can be predominantly carried out from home/mobile but we are looking for someone based in the Kent/East Sussex area ideally near Tunbridge Wells.
£25,000 - £30,000 salary (calculated prorate) negotiable.
